Hey there, I'm Jazmyn
...the face behind Hustle & Bustle Events.
I live in the KC area with my husband, our pup and cat and brand new baby daughter. I grew up in a rural Iowa town and am a country girl at heart. The things that mean the most in this world to me are my relationship with Christ, my family, animals, nature, music and weddings of course!.

My love for weddings stems back to my elementary school years. I must have picked up on the beauty of what wedding days entail because when my parents asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say "A wedding planner!" I have the proof recorded in my baby book! Then of course when The Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez came out, I wanted to be just like her! I have this obsession with wanting to make every couple’s wedding day flawless, memorable and as beautiful as possible. My favorite part of a wedding is the ceremony – the music, the bridal entrance, the vows… they’re just so lovely!!!
I officially began my coordinating career in 2014 helping friends and acquaintances with their weddings. From 2016 to 2021 I worked as a full-service venue in-house coordinator. It was then that I gained my extensive knowledge about wedding flow, what each vendor needs to provide the best services possible, and how to manage ceremonies and receptions professionally.

Because of that experience, I am now able to perfectly curate weddings to my brides’ specific taste. My coordinating style is detailed and efficient as I hustle & bustle (literally!) throughout the day.

During the many wedding days I’ve had the joy of being part of, one thing I always loved doing was quietly capturing those raw, behind-the-scenes moments on my iPhone. Whether it was the nervous laughter during hair and makeup, the private first-look reactions, or the happy chaos right before walking down the aisle, I found so much joy in documenting the little details that often go unnoticed. Over the years, what started as a personal passion turned into a creative outlet, and I gradually honed my editing skills, creating fun, heartfelt reels and Tik Toks that truly brought those moments to life.

Eventually, it hit me—why not offer this as an actual service? So, I took the leap and officially added wedding day content creation to our offerings. I carefully selected and hired a few incredibly talented gals who shared my eye for detail and my love for storytelling. I trained them to expertly capture a full day of behind-the-scenes footage, from the quiet, emotional moments to the high-energy celebrations.

Now, couples can choose Hustle & Bustle Events for their wedding planning/coordination and also content creation! They’ll not only receive a full-service and stress-free experience, but they also walk away with a treasure trove of memories—beautifully captured snippets of their day delivered straight to their phones. It’s like having a digital time capsule of all the candid magic that made their wedding uniquely theirs.

I often get asked what I love most about my job. I can answer without hesitation every time. It is that we get to witness a love story unfold right before our eyes while surrounded by the happiest people in the world. It is such a satisfying feeling to help a couple live out their dream wedding with their family and friends.

Working in the wedding industry for over 11 years has brought tears of joy, amazing stories to tell and has set a foundation for who we are and what we can offer couples today.

We put my heart and soul into every event in hopes to provide you with an incredibly memorable day.

She is efficient, easy to work with, detail oriented, and thinks of everything! She makes the day a fun experience for her brides while she takes care of all the rest of the stressful stuff!
